QVC Q Credit Card Basics

Let’s discuss QVC before we will enlighten you more on QVC Credit Card.

QVC is an acronym for "Quality Value Convenience". It represents an American cable, satellite and broadcast television network, and a shopping channel specializing in televised home shopping. The company was founded in 1986 and since then it has developed into a network that broadcasts television to more than 350 million households in seven countries including the US, the UK, Germany, Japan Italy, China etc. QVC U.S. operates a retail store at their Studio Park complex, and two outlet stores in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Frazer, Pennsylvania.

Q Card is a credit card that gives its holders a possibility of a minimum of 3 months no payments and no interest when the purchase is paid via Q Card in-store or online. Although QVC is a television network and not a store, the QVC credit card is a lot like many store cards because it is not affiliated with any major payment network. What this means is this card can only be used to make purchases from QVC. The Q Card is provided by Consumer Finance Limited which belongs to the Flexi Cards Group of companies and it is the card that combines the benefits of a credit card with a range of interest-free deals and payment holidays, especially made for bigger purchases. However, Q Card is perfect for those smaller purchases too. You also get informed about exclusive promotions, deals and discounts from a range of popular stores. They are focused on a security interest over the goods you purchase using your Q Card.

Who is QVC Q Credit Card Good For?

This card is intended for consumers, or "personal use" with poor or limited credit histories. The issuer may expect recent or past flaws in your credit report. Rates may vary among applicants, however the lowest standard APR is 27.74%* (Variable)*.

Why to Apply for QVC Q Credit Card?

Every QVC cardholder receives one free pass that they can use to take five friends on a tour of the QVC studio at their broadcasting facility in Pennsylvania. In addition, cardholders will have access to convenient online account management and itemized monthly billing statements.

Card features include no annual fee, competitive rates, periodic credit promotions, low monthly payments, detailed statements that summarize all QVC purchases, and online account access and bill payment.

1. No interest if paid in full within 9, 12, or 18 months*

2. Advance sneak peeks of Today’s Special Value® offers and presales

3. Exclusive customer service line and priority order line

4. No annual fee and $0 fraud liability for unauthorized purchases

5. New benefit – QCard is now accepted with any purchase from Zulily

Drawbacks of QVC Q Credit Card

The Qcard has an extremely high APR at 24.99%. QVC is known for offering a wide variety of products, and offering some good deals on merchandise they hawk on TV. But if you use the QVC credit card to finance your purchase and carry the balance, you will be charged a high interest rate which can reduce any discounts that may have been offered on the products.

Should You Get QVC Q Credit Card?

The QVC credit card is a nice credit card, especially if you tune in to the network to shop on a regular basis. However, this card is very limited as to where it can be used. The only thing you can use the credit card for is QVC purchases, and not all of QVC's products have the best price available. If you need a card that can be used more places than just a television network, I'm afraid this isn't the card for you. However, one of these cards may be more useful to you.
